In an marvellous place under the "Gorge of Tajo ", which symbolizes the city of Ronda, Huerta del Tajo offers you a perfect scene to relax very near of the city, only 900 m., five minutes away Ronda ( Los Molinos rural zone, nº 12 ). It is a villa placed in one of the most historical place of Ronda, recently reformed, preserves the original structure and integrates natural elements as the already existing stones in the area. You can arrive to the property over a private bridge that gives place to a small natural paradise for the travelers. The bigger house is very old and hospitable; it was reformed with your original structure. The roofs are of wood and the soils of mud. It is a house of two floors. In the ground floor we find the living room with fireplace, TV., digital satellite and DVD, 1 bath with rustic and very interesting tub, kitchen completely equipped with gas, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, coffee pot, toaster, and other furniture. In the high floor it has 3 bedrooms, 2 with double bed, and 1 with two single beds (all with wardrobe) and 1 bath with shower.
There is central heating (closed circuit of the fireplace), a great private swimming pool of 5 x 8 m. with depurating system and zone of lawn, lunchrooms, barbecue, furniture of garden, great parking, gardens, varied grove (walnuts, pomegranates, almez, laurel, stone pines, oleanders, cherry-trees, apricots, etc.) and marvellous views in a only one environment, all this in a plot of 10.000 m2 completely private. Environnement: The houses are situated very near of Ronda, coming across a rustic way similar to a Roman causeway of easy traffic for the vehicles; they are in a natural environment of great landscape interest, attracting this way travelers specially interested in the knowledge of the natural way. The houses are a few kilometres near the Cave of "Gato", in car or walking across a catalogued way over the Port of "La Muela". In the estate we can see the interesting Arabic ruins. This is a perfect habitat for multitude of birds as the kestrels and falcons, which nest in the gorge; in addition there are multitude of insectivorous birds that live in the banks of the river Guadalevín, which we cross over a bridge; being this one the only access to the houses. Next to the houses we find former mills that were taking advantage of the force of the water to grind the wheat and to obtain flour; these mills are restored for the public use. They are the only houses of the zone that purify his waste water before his spillage to the river, by means of a biological treatment plant of residual water, recycling in addition all the residues that they generate.
